Thanks for looking and commenting, Ken.  I think your point is well taken.
Unfortunately, that was the only POV from which I could get a clear view of
the reflection of the church, and cropping to eliminate the shrubs reaves
the image unbalanced and uninteresting.

This was taken for the county, which is seeking unique views of county
facilities for its publications.  The old church is now the Juror assembly
facility for the county courthouse. In one respect, the visible shrubbery
helps define the place and ambiance for that purpose.

Several years ago, I used this concept with perhaps more success:

I had a better vantage point there, from the third or fourth floor of an
adjacent building.

Strangely enough, I submitted this image to the PPG last week, and it was
approved within 2 days.  I found this quite surprising, as I still have 1
dozen images submitted on Sep 25 and about 60 submitted in 2018 in my
"Pending Photos on PPG.
