I'm in San Jose, which isn't in a high-risk area (it's fairly flat, with a lot of roads so it's easy to get around, and doesn't get particularly high winds). High winds and mountainous terrain are the real danger conditions. Larry is in a marginally higher-risk area, as he's one valley away in slightly hillier country and in the middle of a lot of wooded areas. But while he's more likely to lose power he's still not in a real danger zone. The poor air quality is noticeable - yesterday Cupertino (right in the middle of Silicon Valley - that's where Apple are based) would have been a bad place to be for anyone with respiratory conditions. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
