After my first round of submitting to the PDML annual I started keeping albums 
on flickr of my favorites from that month. Photos that I think would be good 
enough to come back to when looking for my best work, or perhaps something that 
I consider significant for some other reason.

I tend to average about 3 photos per month.  Breaking them into months is 
purely arbitrary, I add them to the album at about the time I post them. I then 
tend to post links to that album (or GESO if you prefer) when I start the new 
one.

It’s a new year, once I get a decent photo I’ll start a new album, but rather 
than splitting these albums up monthly, I could split them up quarterly, or 
just put together an annual candidates for the year’s “best of”.  What are 
people’s thoughts on the subject, either as the photographer or as someone who 
might look at those albums?
