Presumably a tribute to the last toilet roll? Nice one.
Could it be that the joke doesn't work as well in English?
The German title is "Wertpapiere", literally "value papers" - our term
for shares and bonds. All this on the background that people here are
still stockpiling toilet paper.

I read it as an ironic comment on humanity's separation from nature which has
brought us to the situation we are in now. The natural world is kept behind
glass and represented outside by its simulacrum embossed on something we
normally only use indoors - and on those few occasions when we need something
like it out of doors we would use what nature provides, but which is now behind
glass and a mere image.
