I should probably jump up & down about the GST (12.5%) because that doesn't apply to secondhand purchases... although that might differ for something you bring in from outside the country, because it was obviously not taxed by the NZ gov't when sold new. FWIW customs have finally released it and Fedex tried to deliver it yesterday, 15 minutes after my partner went out shopping... at least they didn't leave it sitting in the mailbox like some courier companies do. I remember being somewhat disturbed about that when my 6x7 300mm f/4 was delivered. That package was placed in the mailbox even though someone was home at the time. Anyone walking along the street could have helped themselves to my NZ$1600 box. Whats really disturbing me right now is that the NZ dollar is climbing very steeply against the US (or the US is falling).
