Thanks for the link Dan.  I guess that since I never followed, or was 
particularly interested in, fine art, his position as a trend setter and his 
historical significance escaped me.

I don’t know If I had ever even heard of him before we went to the Egglestone 
exhibit during the PDML show in Chicago.  I do remember that my impression of 
that show was that I thought that the photos exhibited in our show were, in 
general, better than what I saw in his exhibit.
