Something I haven't shared here is that my partner of 30 years passed
away on March 10th. This is a warning to make sure you have a will and
also request for help.
Some of you know that me and my partner of 30 years sold our house and
moved to be closer to his family in Southern TN. He was getting up in
age and his health was getting worse so he wanted to be closer to his
sisters. The house we bought here is/was in both our names but he past
away on March 10th without a will. He has two sons that aren't honoring
his request that I remain in the home for as long as I wish and when I
decide it is time to sale I was to get half and they were to get the
other half. I have a letter from their lawyer stating this and that I
might owe monies back to my partners estate.
I need some help I have set up a go fund me to help with a lawyer and
other expenses. I haven't been working since our move as I was taking
care of the move along with taking care of him as he started getting
sicker and now with all this going on with the virus.
It is hard for me to ask for help but I don't know what else to do at
this moment in time.
