I'd not thought about it before, but you're right: All the Ferrari wheels I 
have seen were variants on a five-spoke model. 

The '82 Alfa Romeo Spider wheels are virtually identical in design to the OEM 
Campagnolo-made wheels of the Ferrari 308GTB and GTS, made about the same time 
period. The originals are very light and strong, unlike the aftermarket copies 
that you mentioned (or are the Crusaders renamed Campagnolo wheels…?).
