Thanks for the compliment, Paul! LOL! Well, for one thing, the more you ride and the fitter you get, the more comfortable *any* bicycle is. :-)
Beyond that notion: I ride every day I can, usually 10-20 miles and sometimes up to 35 miles. I also have a long torso and longish arms, so the seating position isn't particularly 'crouched' for me: it seems fairly upright. When I first built it, I used bars with a 20mm rise and similar pullback, which put too much weight on my tail bone. That hurt a good bit. I reconfigured the bike with flat bars to this position, that puts my weight on my sit bones properly and distributes more of it to my arms and legs, alleviating a lot of cycling soreness. Getting a bicycle that fits your body specifically and adjusting it well is key to cycling comfort (and power, and control, etc). Not everyone is the same shape and can be comfortable on every bike. This one is custom built from the ground up to suit exactly me. :D G > On Apr 17, 2020, at 10:30 AM, Ken Waller <[email protected]> wrote: > > I’m with you Paul.
