Dear Ann, I am a DIY Person and a Master Mechanic, so maybe there is a newer LED Bulb replacement. Also one can modify an Automotive Bulb for this older model Projector. Also Bulb Socket Adapters are available for conversion into LED which are cooler and more powerful. I know for sure as my Son converted all the Ordinary Bulbs to Efficient LEDs in his Home in Toronto. Some 50 years ago, I made my own slide Projector - quite a professional stuff using an Automotive Head lamp. Regards. Bipin Bangalore & Thornhill Ontario
