I’m pretty certain the film I used was Fuji Velvia. How would your dust and scratch removal comments apply to it?
The only slide film that causes problems with IR dust removal is Kodachrome because of its different technology. The same goes for all b/w negative film with the exception of the later chromogenous films like Ilford XP2 and Kodak BW400CN. So, your Velvia would be OK. That being said, IR cleaning doesn't really work well with all Epson flatbed scanners no matter what film you're using. Ralf -- Ralf R.
