Hi Herb,

I couldn't really see it very well.
The picture didn't fit on my screen and I had to scroll to view it. Makes it difficult 
to comment as I couldn't see "the full picture" as it were.
I could have perhaps downloaded it and resized it in some editing suite, well, if I 
was at home I could have.
b.t.w you didn't say at what end of the zoom the photo was made.

    here is a picture i took recently with my ZX-5n and FA* 80-200 f2.8. shot
    on Provia 100F at ISO 100 and an exposure of approximately 1/500s at f2.8.
    scanned on a Nikon 4000 ED at 4000 dpi and 48-bit color. this was a
    vertical shot and i cropped off the top and bottom before downsampling to
    24-bit color and about 2000 dpi.
