Amen to that comment.  When fighting harsh sun and shadows, you must
fight light with light.  Choose a low contrast film, use fill flash or
reflectors.  For the same reason, I tend to use fill flash - nobody to
hold the reflector(s).  I have also found that the reflector can put
enough light on the subject to cause discomfort in the eyes.

The other nicety of fill flash is that it puts a nice little
catchlight in the eyes and keeps them from going too dark from
shadows.

Because of this need for fill flash, I have purchased both of the leaf
shutter lenses for the 67.  Being able to synch up to 1/500 is very
useful.  The MZ-S/AF360FGZ combination can also do this in 35mm.
