It looks like Godfrey has already agreed to help, but just in case, I
thought about a couple of alternatives that might make it easier.
1. Have you looked if you can order from Amazon?
The US Amazon has it:

I am not sure about amazon.de - I couldn't see it, but I might be missing
it in German.
2. Also, one other alternative is to buy a USB-C to Lightning Audio
adapter. (If I read German correctly, amazon.de has it.) And use it with a
USB-C to USB-A adapter. I see that Amazon carries one from Anker, but I
am not sure if it has the right gender on the USB-A side.
My apology if you've already checked all of these options and rejected
them as unsuitable.
