Thanks for looking and commenting Dave!

I have several other plants on the deck, waiting to be munched. I also
have some perennial plants, from which I can harvest leaves.

You are lucky to be near an over-wintering site! I wanted to see one of
the sites in CA, but we were there a bit too late. High on my bucket list
is a trip to the Mexican forests where the huge flocks spend the winter.

Maui has a small but thriving year-round resident population of Monarchs.
(Where could they migrate to/from, as the nearest land is 2300 mile across
the ocean?) I have, however, yet to discover any Milkweed in Maui,
although there is an incredible supply of nectar plants.
