I think the suit has already been settled. The notification came from Google.

If I read it correctly, there are four actual plaintiffs who stand to get $1500 each; any other Google+ user who files a claim to join the "class" will get somewhere between $5 and $12 and the lawyers' fee is 25% of the "class" payout up to a maximum of $200,000.

Like you, I don't see where I lost anything from Google+, so I'm not going to file either.

But I thought it was interesting because so many here on the list were on Google+ while it lasted.

I got it. Google Plus didn’t hurt me. I used it only a couple of times and
found it annoying. I will ignore the notice. It’s a way for lawyers to line
their pockets. If the suit is successful, I suspect class members will get a
coupLe of bucks each and the lawyers will pocket millions.

Did anyone else on list receive a notice from Google about a class action
lawsuit settlement? What did you think?
