My most common use would be landscape photography, with some >hiking >involved. Pentax have three zoom lenses covering the 55mm focal length so a 55m might not be high on their list (but who knows?). For landscapes I strongly recommend the 645NII over any Mamiya. The Pentax is better made and more compact. I strongly suggest one of the two new zoom lenses: either the 33-55 or the 55-110 (or perhaps both?) as they weight about 500g only and should be great for hiking. In fact, there are no better hiking medium format slr system out there. Pl - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
