I don't know about anywhere else, but around here people are hunkered down hiding from a virus and the current heat wave. Yesterday I spent the afternoon at a friend's house where there was a swimming pool and my power was out. When I got in the car to go home, the exterior temperature recorded 106°F ... Pretty darn nasty! My power was restored a few minutes after I arrived home and I ran the AC through the night.
Death Valley recorded a hair higher than 130°F yesterday, putting it up on the record books as "The hottest place on the planet." G > On Aug 17, 2020, at 9:03 AM, Daniel J.
