Wouldn't it technically qualify as a "Pentax Lens", so you'd be able to

iPhone photos to the PDML PUG Gallery if you used it?

It would be using the letter of the law to circumvent the spirit of the law.
When I inserted that clause into the submission guidelines, cell phones
barely existed, much less had but in cameras.

I know people have been using Pentax lenses on other cameras. Some people even butcher the lens mounts.

How is this any different?

Not that it matters to me one way or the other because I'm in such a slump I can't even take photos with my Pentax lenses mounted on my Pentax cameras.

OTOH, the VA Hospital has a number of Pentax Medical Imaging Systems. Radiation Oncology has one and the Ear, Nose & Throat has one and the doctor used it to examine my sinus just this week (follow-up) from my sinus surgery last month.

I thought I had photos of it to share here, but I must have taken them with my phone and deleted them in a fit of madness. I can't find them anywhere on my cameras or computers.

That's an interesting device!

However, there is one puzzling moment in the diagram caption in this
image:

"The phase coating applied to the prism, suppressed flare and goose, ..."

I am unable to figure out what word they meant instead of "goose".
Are they on a wild goose chase? ;-)
(or is that me?)

BTW, it is listed for pre-orders on Ricoh website, but it is available
on Amazon
since August 3, 2020: $139 for the monocular alone, and $199 for the
complete kit:

Cheers,

Make your SmartPhone Pentax "street legal". (Probably old news?)
