Exquisite as usual. 630mm?

How do you get close enough without scaring off the birds - presumably you are within 10m? Perhaps some sort of hide or behind a big bush?

The slightest movement & the garden birds here scatter in all directions. Tame ones in the Kruger Park camps & picnic sites.

A few pics from yesterday. The female Red-Winged Blackbird is neither black nor
sporting a red wing, but she takes her name from the male of the species. The
Cardinal and Woodpecker are both males of course, and they show an abundance of
red. At least in the bird world, reds definitely a manly color.
