Thanks. We do have a local freecycle, and I have used it in the past. Lately, most things are being grabbed up by "flea market" types for resale. I'd like to contact a local photography club or some adventurous local young photographer who might actually try to put it to some use, instead of being taken and sold as a prop for a local coffee house.
When we lived on a busier residential street, I could leave things on the sidewalk with a "free" sign, and they would be taken. Now, at the end of a cul=-de-sac with only 6 homes, only USPS, UPS, FedEx, and Amazon drive by. 😀 If I don't get a better idea, I'll use freecycle.
