I liked th Fort Worth zoo quite a lot - but that was way way back in
1985 - at that point I was not aware of a Dallas Zoo.. I thought the
Fort Worth
one was one in the same.. I was visiting friends in Dallas on my drive
home from Houston after my mom passed away.

Thank you, Dan, Toine, Larry, Paul, and Ann for your comments, and
everybody for looking!
Ann, this was at Franklin Drive Thru Safari. It is a small-ish one,
near a small town of Franklin, just 40-some-minutes drive from us.
It is one of very few relatively safe activities during the hot and
long Texas summer.
We've been at FW zoo (as well as Dallas and Houston ones) - but it's
been a while ago. I am thinking that of those "traditional zoos, I
liked the one in Dallas the most.

I don't think the second one looks so angry :-) I like him the best.
Are these and the tongue in cheek guy perhaps
taken at the Forth Worth Zoo, Igor?

Both taken with the same Tokina ATX Pro 28-70/2.6-2.8 @ 70mm.
I am thinking that I should've close down the aperture to increase
the DOF. (But I maybe they wouldn't look as angry that way...)
All comments are welcome!
