Once again, thank you so much, Brian, for keeping the gallery going! You do an excellent job, and I for one appreciate it very much. The PUG is an important part of what holds this group together (together with a love of puns).
There is a lot to like in this gallery. Henk's "Straight Ahead" is the winner for me, both in terms of embracing the monthly theme and in overall appeal. The strong perspective really grabs my eye and draws me in. I am also very fond of Rick's "St Louis Steps." Again, it really captures the theme and the minimalism of the composition is pleasing and compelling. "Layers...," by Paul Sorenson also strongly demonstrates the theme with interesting geometry and textures. It shows a great eye and wonderful execution. All of the others have interest and appeal, and Bruce Walker's "Geometry 1" got a rise out of me. Congratulations to all submitters. Let's get an even larger gallery for next month!
