Well, I don't see you complaining about them constantly, Rick. My partner uses Yahoo as well … He doesn't complain about it either. I also have Yahoo accounts. I find them a pain in the butt so I don't use them; I haven't deleted them because there's no real point to that. But I don't worry that they're a pain in the butt, I just ignore them. Same for Gmail.
My point is: If you're complaining about something all the time, and there are better alternatives out there, switch over to one of those and be happy. It's worth the pain in the butt then to do what you have to do to move your stuff to something else.
