Hmm. Different perceptions entirely. :)

Construction fences out here help reduce the amount of dust that the
construction is generating from blowing all over the place, so there's always a
bit of chain link on the inside and a dust shield on the outside. As I walked
past, I was enjoying the sunset casting shadows on the fence from the building
construction inside. The sun bloomed through the construction and the fencing's
shadows and colors did a bit of a dance … the dust shield looked to me like
high altitude striations of cloud… and the forms of the construction, while
sturdy, slowly billowed with the wind on the dust shield. It was whimsical to
my eye, the light and moving against the heavy and stoliddkd

I guess I've failed utterly to convey this feeling of an abstract dance of
shadows in light. Gloom was the furthest thing from my mind.
Oh well, it happens. :)
