They look like Honey Mushrooms../*Armillaria Mellea*//**/to me at a glance... which have a couple of very dangerous look-a-likes (I know, you aren't going to harvest)  - one of which  , it looks like, is the Hypholoma fasciculare, sulphur tuft

Lots of photos on line..  I think a couple of the other photos in the gallery had nicer geometry than the on eyou selected.. if you are at all curious about the species they -might- be always good to get a clear shot of the gills or lack of them... and what kind of tree the stump is..
