Hi All!

I hope everybody is staying safe - in all parts of the world.

I came across this wonderful camera work (video):
https://youtu.be/qqIH9ez7d9A
(The skaters-dancers are also very skillful and fun to watch.)

I was curious how that video was shot (obviously, from the ice), so I went to the author's website. The camera man, Jordan Cowan, is a very experienced skater himself. In addition to allowing him following the skater very close, it also gives him a huge advantage of knowing the typical element sequences, which allows him to expect/predict what's coming, and choose the best view point. (That is also related to our conversation(s) with Larry on shooting dancers (by photographers who know the dance specifics).)

And his rig is quite impressive:

You can see more of his work on his YT channel:

Cheers,

Igor
