I took a hike in Fall Creek, a local park today, in an area that burned, six 
months after the fire.  This area didn’t burn severely, a lot of the fire 
damage looks much like historical fire damage that is still around many decades 
after previous fires.  One thing that is scary is all of the vegetation that 
died from the fire, but didn’t burn.  We’re having a rather dry winter, so the 
next couple summers could be particularly interesting.

It did eventually fly to another window, got behind a curtain, which enabled me 
to catch it and let it loose outside. I never really grasped how small they 
were until I was holding one in my hands.
