I’ve had the two Moderna shots, sore arm but no big deal. A bit sorer after the 2nd shot. Meg had the two Pfizer shots, same sort of mild reaction.
On the other hand, our niece was exposed last November, tested positive herself, quarantine, self medication at home. Never any need to go to the hospital. But she is one of the unlucky long-covid patients, still suffering today with severe joint pain (now using crutches due to knee issues), breathing issues, fatigue, partial loss of taste and smell, things that used to small good now are quite off-putting… In short, I would opt for minor reactions to the shots any day in preference to catching even a relatively mild case of the disease. It can be nasty for a long time. stan > On Mar 18, 2021, at 4:13 PM, Ken Waller <kwal...@peoplepc.com> wrote: > > I’ve heard that if there’s going to be a reaction it’s most likely with the > second shot, but those reactions from people I know weren’t extreme. > > > -----Original Message----- >> From: Bill <anotherdrunken...@gmail.com> >> Sent: Mar 18, 2021 3:10 PM >> To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List <pdml@pdml.net> >> Subject: OT Covid stuff >> >> Well folks, I've had my first dose of AstraZeneca, and I feel fine. >> >> >> bill >> -- >> %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List >> To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net >> to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and >> follow the directions. > -- > %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List > To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
