OK, that was supposed to be geso not geese, but my laptop autocorrected me. I was able to ressurect a couple of old broken macbook pros to make one that works, apart from the detail that it keeps crashing on me, and various settings seem to be borked. I want mail to highlight spelling errors, but not fix them, and occasionally it seems to decide that it know better than I do what I want.
