The thing about the buildings, especially adobe, out west in te dry environ is they last a long time.. even though far more delapidated after almost exactly 30 years

Very cool.  I did note that it said Valentine Tx on old Route 66.  Having taken 66 (get all sporty on interstate forty) at least as far as Amarillo on my way to my sister’s place in North TX, I looked up Valentine TX and it seems to be on hwy 90, which is at the far South West end of TX a bit south of I-10.
