A couple days after I arrived in Oregon, I missed by the length of time it took me to find a pullout to park, the chance to photograph the setting sun through the Yaquina bay bridge. Over the next several weeks I tried multiple times, usually to have too many clouds on the horizon to get the shot. The challenge was exacerbated by right spot to get the angle moving by a surprising distance, and amount of time each day. Over the course of my visit, it moved a couple hundred meters, and I think sunset was 20 minutes later.
This isn’t quite the shot that I was looking for, I was just too late to get the full disk, but it’s still decent: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/51139807880/in/album-72157719037467147/ BTW, while I was going through this folks were discussing the Photographer’s ephemeris. full set https://www.flickr.com/photos/ellarsee/sets/72157719037467147/ -- Larry Colen [email protected] -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
