NatGeo has an article with interesting images of the Irish Traveller:

Decades ago we ran into a convoy of Traveller caravans on the
Dingle Peninsula.
They were blocking the road in an apparent attempt to collect bribes from
the locals and tourists trying to reach the town of Dingle. From what we
saw, they have a unique culture and way of life, and definitely an
independent approach to life and "settled" folk.
