Thanks for your kind comments, Dan. The herd was actually about 40 strong - the main group & several satellite groups spread out over about 200m. I tried doing a Pano but it was too long & narrow. It was encouraging to see that my old K110D can still work as a back-up if required.

Sable Dam on the way - still very full. Took my old K110D & FA 80-320
along just for the hell of it. Here are 3 of an Ellie herd on the far
bank about 300m away & a closer one of some Impalas. One of last Nov's
lambs in there. Also a shot of the Letaba River looking upstream (N)
from the high water bridge. Hardly flowing any more.
