Hi, Mark, As I just mentioned in another post, I was only joking about the MX with the Winder MX. Mine is very loud (the winder anyway). I paid virtually nothing for the winder, coming as it did with the body, and it (the winder, not the body) is pretty beat up, so maybe they aren't all that loud.
It does sound cool, but when you use the two together, everyone within 1/2 a block knows you've taken a picture!
