my travel (waliking around city, usually with someone, who's not much into this stuff :) kit is A24mm/2.8, M50mm/1.4 and M135mm/3.5 (or M200mm/4). this works perfectly for me when there's no time to swap the lenses, like your guided tour sounds. 90% of shots are covered by 50mm. but from time to time there's real need to go wide/long.
if i were you, i'd decide what focal length i use most of time -- what's *your* normal length. than take that lens, plus something that's significantly wider and something singnificantly longer. the set of limiteds might work, although 31mm -- 43mm sound a tad too close for me, i'd pick one of them and something really wide on top of that. just my 2p. mishka > From: Bryan Carter Vyhmeister > Subject: For Travel, Limiteds Limiting? > Date: Fri, 14 Jun 2002 13:49:24 -0700 Yahoo! - Official partner of 2002 FIFA World Cup http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
