I'd say so, Steve - <g>.  The lens designers really should not be
faulted for this, though, since the lens design predated the LX by a
few years.  (I'm pretty sure that it was not a problem on K-era
Pentax bodies - it's certainly not a problem on my M and A bodies.)
Still, I can't figure out why the baffle was made so long to start
with specifically on the K-mount 35-85/2.8's...  (???)
