Thanks Dan. Those are the best of about 200 shots. Apparently there is some sort of display by the top pilots to end off tomorrow pm so I hope the weather obliges.

Tried my hand at something different. Thanks for all the advice. K5 & HD
55-300. Ended up MF TAV 1/1000sec f8 but not easy. Only about 5%
keepers. High aerial shots are heavy crops. Very challenging - obviously
needs lots of practice.

The Aerobatic Competition started yesterday at 14:00 & will end on Sat.
Only 28 planes pitched which is rather disappointing but I suppose it's
a long flight for them to get here. The organisation is very spectator
unfriendly. There is no printed programme so we don't know anything
about the planes or pilots or what is happening, when. No access to the
airfield, hangars or planes for spectators who have to watch from
outside or a cleared area about 500m N of the terminal buildings. No
entry fee, mind you, & some freelancers with food/non-alcoholic
refreshments. Portable toilets provided.

Heavy cloud today & forecast again for tomorrow with rain - activity for
the day only beginning late, this afternoon - wonder if they will
finish? The Extra 300S is the most popular with a couple of Pitts
specials. No idea what the others are except for a single Russian YAK 52.
