On the subject of beastliness, here is a quick and dirty shot of the D FA* 85/1.4 grouped with the M85/2, FA77/1.8 and A*85/1.4. The new 85/1.4 is not for the faint of heart or weak of back, It is a superb lens, but it is huge, and is as heavy as it looks.
