Those are almost Godfreyesque.
About a year ago about 900 homes burned down in our community and I suspect
(hope) that some infrastructure improvements are happening in the area because
of that. There have been a lot of cryptic marks on the pavement (I also live on
HWY 9, the main road for the San Lorenzo Valley so any infrastructure for the
15-20,000 people in SLV tends to go past my house). There are also some other
projects that were probably already in the queue anyways.
For years I had seen something like USA cable painted on pavement, and I had no
idea who that was. I recently learned that USA stands for Underground Service
Advisory, telling folks to not dig right there, or alternatively where to dig.
