John -
I'd rather look at old film photos of yours than this overly phony artsy-fartsy stuff this woman is doing..um that is overdoing.
But it seems to be the fashion these days...

Yup Dave was doing Equine photography

straighforward shots of working horses that are much more appealing and real.. I believe there were shots of young equestirans as well in shows - even some jumpers, yes?

Didn't David Brooks used to post a lot of horse stuff from those "old time" farm events from around where he lives?

I consider that equine photography.

Besides, why should dogs & cats get all the attention?

Quite elaborate and dramatic!

First equine photographer I have encountered.

Reminds me of the tiny veterinarian's office I came across in the village
of Oldwick, near where I live.  I couldn
't figure out how they managed with such a small office, and no parking or
outdoor runs.  Then I noticed that under the name of the group it stated
"equine sports medicine."
Everything they do is by house (or horse) calls.

For the first time since Covid I joined my Nature Photography Club for
their monthly meeting via Zoom. This month's presenter was Phyllis
Burchett who specializes in Equine photography.

Some really inspiring photography:
