I think it was back when the list was the Pentax Forum on CompuServe that we had a somewhat cantankerous member who lived out west. One day he was driving from Arizona to California, when he learned that snow had closed the roads over the mountains. So, he got a room at the nearest motel.
To while away the empty hours, he shot a couple of rolls of film in his room; just making abstract photos of the furnishings and fixtures. They were very good. On our trip to Lancaster County a couple of weeks ago, we were ready for breakfast a while before the inn started serving it. I thought of our former member and took a few shots around the room.
