Well done, Godfrey. Looks like they have done a great job. 50 years -
how time flies! If it was somewhat younger there would no doubt have
been a wing on the boot.

The work on my 1967 Lancia Fulvia continues … I stopped by the shop on Thursday morning
and it was almost ready to come home. All of the items on my "get it ready for
driving" list but one had been completed, that one being fitting the H4/H1 halogen
headlamp upgrade units. So I snapped a few exposures with the iPhone 11 Pro, using the
Moment camera app, and asked them to call me if they finished the work by end of day.

Since I'm putting in the halogen headlamps, the driving lights seemed redundant
for the kind of driving and roads I'll use the Fulvia on, so I had the mechanic
remove them. To my eye, the front end looks cleaner without them.
As it turned out, the headlamps were fitted an hour or so later, so I caught a
ride to the shop and drove the car home. Ah, what fun!
There's more stuff to do, of course, it is a 50+ year old car… :D
It's nice to have it starting easily and running nicely now.
enjoy!
