Nice tour of one of my favorite places. When I was rowing with the
Dartmouth Lightweight crew, we came down there for spring break. The water
was cold, but at least it wasn't frozen like the Connecticut in the Upper
Valley.
I especially like the lonely bench. I'm pretty certain I sat on that bench
a few years ago.

Last Saturday I tried out a local photo club, which had a wander around
the Philadelphia Museum of Art. It is a beautiful building (with a great
collection), looming over a series of small hills and the Schylkill
(“skool-kill”) river. It was a cold morning, with a temperature of 20F/
-7C, and a breeze off the river.

The next-to-last shot is of Philly’s fabled Boathouse Row, which houses
several rowing clubs. Not such a nice day to be out on the water, though.
