Many years ago I discovered Jeffrey Friedl’s lightroom plug-ins. They are amazingly useful and solve a lot of the fundamental problems of features that lightroom lacks.
http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies When I was setting up the new system I accidentally published some photos to flickr using the standard lightroom publishing service. It seems that if you publish a photo using that, from then on flickr will only let you publish one version of that photo. If you want two virtual copies, cropped differently, or one in black and white and one in color, too bad. Even if you try to publish them with Friedl’s plug-in.
