John, when I was in High School I found most Studio Folks using Pentax SLRs or Yashica TLRs. I also saw many Photogs using Pentax Cameras especially the Spotmatics. There would be lots of discussions by our Seniors on Pentax Photography, such were their popularity. I sold my Japanese K1000 SE when the meter went out of balance, and my Pentax ME Super with smc M 50mm f1.4 becape a paper weight. Regards.
