While I was running up on the hill I encountered a few patches of fly agaric mushrooms. I don't see that type often so it was nice to see so many in one outing. Sadly they're a sign of our wettest February on record. Most were quite small but the biggest one I found would have been around 6 or 7 inches in diameter.
