Such special editions aren't meant for taking photos.
Just like their equivalents from Leica, Rollei etc. they'll be unpacked with white gloves and go straight into collectors' glass cabinets, not to be touched again before they're disposed of by their heirs. Nothing wrong with that as long as Ricoh make money with them. So, churn them out in neon green, candy red and piggy pink if it helps to make decent cameras for the rest of us. Ralf -- Ralf R.
