I had several candidates for Red, I was leaning towards a shot of a faded red mural on the walls of Herculenium, from a visit with Gianfranco a couple of years ago. Meanwhile, we headed south a few days ago for a quick visit to North Carolina for the memorial service for a long-time friend (Meg has known George's wife Gretchen since they were in 9th grade together, had known George since he started dating Gretchen over 50 years ago.) Along the way we did some driving on the Blue Ridge, spotted my Red entry for this month. And now I won’t be faced with making a quick PUG decision when we get back home!
