Rick, that's the type of the effect I was pursuing.
It took some digital "burning" in LR, and edge sharpening that
mentioned in my comment on your image, - to strengthen that effect.

It also took several shots - (7 with this branch and 25 with this tree) from which I was selecting. (A couple of those were featured in the "artifact" message that I've sent about two weeks ago.)
